it doesn't happen often that I get this big camera of mine out. Between the kid(s), dog and any other crazy life related things that is happening in my life photography is on the very very bottom of my priority list. I am partly okay with that, if I get to play once in a while.
So I remembered to bring it today.
D was in a good mood to take a bigger walk than usually we explored a tiny trail offside of our usual way. We managed pretty good, without too much crying. These days it's like acoustic hell over here, but I digress.
We reached a little wood trail and ran through leaves, played with sticks (which involved the dog knocking D over attempting at him to play with the stick, insert more crying). D loved this trail.
I really love autumn, not because of it's colours, but because of the smell. The earthy smell rose up, the smell of wet soil, wet from the last rain. I crave this. It's like coming home after a long vacation and smelling your own house smell.
I was born to embrace the outdoors, making it my home.
